Visual impressions – Juried Show 2014
A few months ago I received the incredible news that I had won the Visual Impressions Juried Show at the ryan james fines arts gallery with renowned judges like Kathy Feek, Dawn Laurant and George Tuton. This small gallery has incredible works and it is an important player in Washington's Eastside art scene. I highly recommend the exhibit that is being shown during these months; it has some encaustic paintings by Joan Stuart Ross who always creates amazing things.

That which inspires us – El fanzine
If you're looking for interesting content, El Fanzine magazine is a great option. This free, well-designed publication has been promoting art and culture for a few years now. This time I was invited to participate with twenty images related to what inspires me based on what I believe in. Here's the link: http://elfanzine.tv/2014/04/loquenosinspira-27
Kirkland Arts Center Artists Exhibition 2014
Starting in June, you will be able to see my work at Kirkland Arts Center annual exhibit Kirkland Arts Center in Washington. It has quite a good and diverse variety of art curated by Michael Monroe, who has had a great career and who agreed with me in that old toys are charming and an important point of reference for artistic creation, especially because of their charm and simplicity.

Picnic Magazine - Alchemists
It was a pleasure to participate in the 52nd edition of Picnic Magazine, in which I shared my work and the process I go through when creating images, concepts and messages. In this important magazine, I talk with other great creators about references, techniques, and my immense love of colors, which I surround myself with and rely on for each thing I create as an illustrator and as a person.
The survivors - 12 illustrators in Xalapa
If you live in Xalapa or you're going there, starting in November, you will be able to go to the The Survivors exhibit Los Sobrevivientes at the Carlos Fuentes Library Gallery. This show has new objects as well as some old ones that were showcased at the Casa de las Diligencias a few months ago. It is a pleasure to belong to this collective with so much talent and so many great ideas. Here is the link to a VIDEO about the exhibit.
